Terms of Service for Elite Dry Ice Limited
1. Introduction
These terms and conditions (the "Agreement") govern your use of the website operated by Elite Dry Ice Limited ("Company") located at https://elitedryice.co.nz (the "Website") and the services provided by the Company (the "Services"). 3.1 Scope of Services
The Company provides a variety of dry ice blasting services, including:
- Industrial cleaning: Machinery, tanks, buildings, electrical components (post-incident cleanup), marine including marinas: hull cleaning, anti-foul removal.
- Surface preparation: Painting, coating, bonding (streamline restoration).
- Equipment maintenance & restoration: Optimise machinery performance (minimise downtime).
- Mould removal: Safe solution for buildings (covered by many insurance policies).
- Fire & smoke damage restoration: Expedite claims resolution.
- Public infrastructure cleaning: Maintain public safety and aesthetics.
- Electrical hardware cleaning: Prevent future incidents and claims.
- Food processing line cleaning: Ensure hygiene and regulatory compliance (avoid recalls).
- Building restoration: Maintain property value for insurers.
- Archaeological artefact cleaning: Protect valuable cultural assets.
- Electric power generation & distribution cleaning: Ensure reliable power and minimise outages.
- Environmentally sensitive area cleaning (consult specialists): Mitigate environmental damage.
- Automotive restoration.
This list is not exhaustive and does not limit the operational capabilities of the Company. We encourage you to contact us to discuss your specific needs and explore how dry ice blasting can benefit you. Any other related services not specifically listed may also be provided upon agreement.
3.2 Service Availability
Service availability is subject to scheduling and may vary based on the location and specific requirements of the Client. The Company reserves the right to decline any service request at its discretion. The Company will use reasonable efforts to provide turnaround time estimates upon request. Geographical limitations may apply and will be communicated upfront.
3.3 Service Level Agreement (SLA)
The Company commits to using reasonable efforts to provide services in accordance with agreed service levels. Specific SLAs can be negotiated and documented in separate agreements. A high-level overview of typical service levels includes response times, completion timelines, and quality standards.
4. Pricing and Payment
4.1 Pricing
All prices for Services are quoted in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and are subject to change without notice. Quotes provided are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified. If prices for ongoing services change, the Company will provide a notice period to the Client.
4.2 Payment Terms
Payment for Services is due upon receipt of invoice unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Company. Late payments may incur additional charges as specified in the invoice. The Company considers payments late if not received within 14 days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4.3 Refunds (Excludes B2B)
Refunds are provided at the sole discretion of the Company and will be processed in accordance with New Zealand consumer protection laws. Conditions under which refunds are granted include service not delivered as agreed or significant delays caused by the Company.
4.4 Invoice Disputes
Any disputes regarding invoices must be raised within 7 days of receipt. The Company will investigate and resolve any disputes promptly.
5. Client Obligations
5.1 Access
The Client must ensure that the Company has sufficient access to the work site and any necessary facilities to perform the Services safely and efficiently. If access is not provided as agreed, the Client may be subject to rescheduling fees or cancellation charges.
5.2 Safety
The Client is responsible for maintaining a safe working environment and complying with all relevant health and safety regulations. The Client must inform the Company of any hazards at the site.
5.3 Cancellation and Rescheduling
The Client must provide at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in cancellation charges to cover any expenses incurred in preparation for the job. These charges may include, but are not limited to, costs related to mobilisation, resource allocation, the cost of dry ice, and any other expenditures directly associated with the scheduled service. Providing timely notice helps ensure efficient scheduling and resource management.
6. Compliance and Standards
6.1 Regulatory Compliance
The Company prioritises compliance with all applicable New Zealand laws and regulations, including:
- Health and Safety Standards: The Company prioritises the safety of its employees, clients, and the public. We adhere to relevant health and safety regulations, including those set by WorkSafe New Zealand. This ensures a safe working environment for everyone involved.
- Environmental Regulations: The Company is committed to environmentally responsible practices. We comply with regulations regarding waste disposal, air quality, and water usage associated with dry ice blasting operations. This minimises environmental impact and ensures responsible waste management.
- Industry-Specific Standards: The Company adheres to industry best practices and may hold certifications relevant to specific dry ice blasting applications. This ensures we deliver high-quality services that meet industry standards.
The Company maintains relevant insurance coverage to protect both the Company and the Client. This insurance may include public liability, worker's compensation, and professional indemnity insurance.

The Company is committed to meeting the standards and requirements of major corporations and government entities. This includes:
